Each vehicle is fitted with a vehicle tracking unit, which monitors specific events such as ignition on/off, vehicle movements and activity. The vehicle position is triangulated using GPS satellite technology and converted into longitude & latitude coordinates.

These coordinates are then sent via the GPRS network to main servers, that then send the information to a client interface, placing the vehicle on a map and showing all activity for the vehicle. The client interface is an internet based solution, so there is no need for additional software to be loaded onto PC's. Due to the client interface being an internet based solution, this means you can access the interface from anywhere in the world, at anytime as long as you have an internet connection.
